Suffix (অনুসর্গ বা প্রত্যয়) হলো এক বা একাধিক বর্ণ, যা কোনো মূল শব্দের (Root word) শেষে যুক্ত হয়ে নতুন শব্দ তৈরি করে এবং অনেক সময় মূল শব্দের অর্থ বা পার্টস অফ স্পিচ (Part of Speech) পরিবর্তন করে দেয়। যেমন: 'Kind' (দয়ালু) + 'ness' = 'Kindness' (দয়া) । এগুলো ব্যাকরণগত দিক পরিবর্তন করতে ব্যবহৃত হয় ।
